On yesterday's weekly Zoom meeting, we recognized Lovepreet Kaur for the Mill Creek Rotary Student of the month for May for Academic Excellence. Lovepreet attends Kamiak High School and is a student in the Aerospace Manufacturing and Maintenance Technology program at
Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center .
Lovepreet moved to the United States from India a couple years ago. Despite having a heavy class load, and dealing with English as a second language, Lovepreet has carried a high GPA all year, averaging 3.7…and she is graduating high school next month at the young age of 16! Lovepreet is a class leader and a program ambassador at Sno-Isle. In addition to school she owns her own small business as a Henna Tattoo Artist, and volunteers weekly at her Indian Sikh Temple, teaching the Punjabi language to children.
Lovepreet will be going on to Everett Community College to study aerospace engineering and the to a four your school where she plans to major in electrical engineering. Congrats Lovepreet!
