She has enrolled in demanding classes all throughout her high school career, completing three AP courses and 3 honors courses. She continues to push herself academically her senior year by enrolling in AP Calculus AB, Physics, English 12 Honors and Social Science 12 Honors. Sydney is a member of the National Honor Society and is a “Teacher Assistant” in Spanish I.

Sydney has been a member of the AMHS Volleyball program and was selected as a varsity team captain for her senior season. Outside of the AMHS community, she has dedicated time to volunteering as a School Student Aide, assisting in classrooms with some of the most challenging students. In addition to the above commitments, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sydney has served as a virtual math tutor for a local K-8 school.
