We were honored to have our 5030 District Governor Cathy Gibson as our speaker this week. This amazing lady told us of her many accomplishments in her mountain climbing (she has climbed all 7 of the worlds major mountains), and how that climbing is like Rotary.
In mountain climbing as in Rotary you need:
- To have a plan
- Have a team
- Work as a team
- Take 1 step at a time
- Take Rotary with you- Cathy took her Seattle #4 banner to the summit of Mount Everest.
It was a wonderful presentation, and the members had plenty of interesting questions.
